Ramalia and his beginnings in chess

During an interview of the girl and her parents with this communication medium in December 2020, it was learned that she won her first trophy at the age of five. The little girl reached second place in the female sub-7 category in the 2016 Metropolitan Championship.

“From chess, I like the openings, the tactics and the strategies. I feel happy, because I have become metropolitan, national, South American and Pan American champion. In the future, I would like to be a robotics engineer, as well as being a world champion and Grandmaster.”Ramalia mentioned on that occasion.

In addition, the father of the minor, Fred, told how his daughter joined the world of virtuality during the pandemic. “Fortunately, my daughter has quickly adapted to this style of play. Physically, the games used to last between an hour and a half to two hours, but now, everything happens in 10 minutes. The competitor has to be more agile when it comes to thinking, and she has achieved it. She has that virtue. I am very proud”, he pointed.
