Gareth Bale’s agent’s response to Getafe’s president: “I don’t even have his number”

Wasn’t it offered to the ‘azulones’? Gareth Bale ended his contract with Real Madrid after eight seasons. Now, the Welsh striker will have to define his future and, after statements by Ángel Torres, the possibility of reaching Getafe was understood as the closest option; however, Joshua Barnett denies the offer to the Spanish club.

Speaking to the journalist Roman Fabrizioa specialist in market issues, Bale’s agent maintained that “Not even” have “the number of the president of Getafe”. Reason for which, the words of Ángel Torres would be being denied.

Gareth Bale says goodbye to the ‘White House’ after winning five Champions League trophies, three LaLiga titles and being champion of four Club World Cups. Although the Welshman was vital in some games inside the white box, in his last season he was not relevant for Carlo Ancelotti.

The constant injuries were an impediment for Gareth Bale who only played seven games -5 in LaLiga Santander + 2 in the Champions League – with the white team this season.

The words of the president of Getafe

Getafe president Ángel Torres revealed that the ‘Cardiff Express’ was offered to the club. “45 minutes ago I spoke with Gareth Bale’s representative. We have to study it with the technical staff and the sports management of Getafe”, He said this Wednesday at a press conference.

Along the same lines, the president confirmed that the signing of Bale will be studied. “It seems that the boy wants to stay in Madrid at least until the end. It depends on the desire of the footballer and Quique Sánchez (technical director of the team”, he added.
