Candidate for president of Emelec revealed that he made a proposal to Luis Suárez: “In South America, it is the best”

Known the information that Luis Suárez did not renew contract with Atlético de Madrid and will be free from July 1, some suitors have already appeared. It was known, thanks to the Argentine sports media, of River Plate’s interest; and now, José Auad, candidate for the presidency of Emelec, revealed that he has already made a proposal to the ‘Gunman’.

“It is a firm proposal and I do it publicly, Suárez was proposed $150,000 a month and a prize that if he gives us the Libertadores, we will give him a million dollars. Armored car, house, the best schools for the children”declared Auad to the press, after registering his candidacy for the elections scheduled for June 26.

Although his confession surprised many, Auad took it upon himself to make the matter serious. “It is not that Pepe Auad is selling smoke, now he (Suárez) is going to decide if he accepts the proposal. Now it is said that River Plate wants him. Here at Emelec, in South America, it is the best proposal he has”, he added.

On the other hand, the business administrator professional mentioned two other names in the project he has to reinforce Emelec, in case he wins the elections.

“We are going to bring in a great goalkeeper, who is the captain of the Bulgarian national team (Nikolay Mihaylov). We have also been talking with the representative of Lucas Pratto and we are going to bring the top Argentine soccer player, which I cannot tell you because he is currently active“, revealed.

Luis Suárez, 35 years old and record scorer for the Uruguayan national team with 68 goals, has also played for his country’s Nacional, Groningen, Ajax, Liverpool and Barcelona.
