FIFA gave its verdict this Friday against Chili who made his claim since the beginning of May that there was sufficient evidence that the player Byron Castillo was not born in Ecuador, but in Colombia, for which an investigative process was opened for possible falsification of documents. Thus, after almost a month, the highest soccer body dismissed the complaint from ‘La Roja’.
Although in the Mapocho country they had the illusion of accessing the World Cup through this complaint, the result was not as expected
Of course, although FIFA gave its verdict on the Byron Castillo case, it does not end there. This same may be appealed by the National Professional Football Association (ANFP) in the coming days, even reaching higher instances such as the TAS (Sports Arbitration Court). So, at the moment, it is almost impossible for there to be an immediate end.
