The red and white defender published a message in which he showed his pain at not getting the victory, but he was also grateful to the fans.

Peru fell to Australia

The Peruvian National Team was left out of Qatar 2022 after losing (5-4) in a penalty shootout against Australia, after a goalless draw until extra time, in the intercontinental playoff match between Conmebol and the Asian Confederation played in Al Rayyan.
