César Cueto turns 70 this Thursday and has received greetings from various teams in which he walked his football. Alianza Lima congratulated him in the morning hours and Atlético Nacional also joined these congratulations to the ‘Poeta de la zurda’.
The former midfielder played for ‘Green’ from 1979 to 1983 and entered the club’s history by becoming champion of the Colombian First Division in 1981. The Peruvian legend won the hearts of the fans with his precise passes and masterful goals.

The former midfielder also wore the jerseys of José Gálvez, Deportivo Municipal, América de Cali (he was champion in Colombia), Deportivo Pereira and Cúcuta Deportivo. In addition, he won the Copa América in 1975 with the Peruvian team and participated in two editions of the World Cup.
