Curry vs. LeBron: How many rings divide the Warriors and Lakers stars?

The Golden State Warriors they added their fourth title in eight years after beating the Boston Celtics at the hands of his figure, Stephen Currywho was chosen for the first time MVP of the finals of NBA and is about to tie Lebron James in rings.

With 34 points and 6 three-pointers, the ‘Golden Boy’ led the decisive victory for the Warriors at Boston’s TD Garden and celebrated the rebirth of the Golden State dynasty together with his eternal partners, Klay Thompson (12) and Draymond Green ( 12).

Now he is just one ring behind LeBron, a four-time NBA champion and four-time Most Valuable Player, who has won five championships.

After lifting his fourth NBA title with the Golden State Warriors, the point guard was recognized with his first career Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

“This means we seized the opportunity,” said the San Francisco team leader holding the trophy. “At the beginning of the season they said that we were not on the radar and here we are now, with two trophies in hand. It means a lot”.

The Warriors beat the Celtics 103-90 on Thursday and settled the Finals 4-2 on aggregate with another display from Curry, who posted 34 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.

At 34 years old, the base charged his team throughout the tie, rescuing it in the most difficult moments with his impossible baskets.

In the six games of the Finals he averaged a fabulous 31.2 points, 5.2 triples, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, his best numbers in a title eliminator.

The point guard had two season MVP awards (2015 and 2016) but the one for the Finals had eluded him until now.

In the three rings previously won with the Warriors, the MVP went to Andre Iguodala (2015), recognized for his marking of Lebron James (Cavaliers), and Kevin Durant (2017 and 2018).

“This time it’s different, for sure,” Curry said of the ring, achieved after a three-year descent into hell in which Golden State became the worst team in the NBA.
