Beccacece, uncomfortable in Defense and will evaluate his situation: “We are not clear about the future”

The Argentine League started a few weeks ago and one of the most irregular teams is Defensa y Justicia, which is third from last in the standings (26th). The club technically led by Sebastián Beccacece does not know of victories in the competition and has accumulated a significant losing streak of results.

At the local level, the ‘Halcón de Varela’ has five matches without winning (two defeats and three draws); while adding another two for Copa Sudamericana (one fall and one equality). The panorama is adverse and the stumbling block in the visit to Godoy Cruz this Monday increased the criticism towards the soccer players.

The circumstances have generated discomfort in Sebastián Beccacece, although not precisely because of football, but because of the management of the leaders. “Let’s sit down and talk. We have a very noble, generous group, but things have happened during the week”, explained the DT in a recent press conference.

“The directive has removed soccer players. We are going to reevaluate the situation, to see what we are going to do. We don’t have a clear future”, added the Argentine strategist, reflecting his discomfort on his face.

“In the previous season Enzo Fernández and Braian Romero left. We had to go through these adversities and put the pieces back together, reconnect. The departure of Raúl Loaiza two days before a match had a strong impact on us. At least for me, as a coach, it will make me think well”, he highlighted.

Finally, Sebastián Beccacece confessed that he will analyze everything that happened in the company of his assistants. “We have to see if we have the desire. It’s our fifth season, but this thing of being armed and disarmed all the time is wearing us out a bit. So, I have to evaluate it as my coaching staff and managers”, he finished.
