Universitario reported that Colectivo USA is the official sponsor of the Down futsal team

Universitario de Deportes announced this Friday that Colectivo USA has become the first official sponsor of the Down futsal team. This was announced by Jean Ferrari through a press conference that was organized at the ‘Lolo’ Fernández Stadium.

The administrator of the cream club highlighted this agreement with the NGO. “At the end of 2021 we became the first soccer club to have a futsal Down team in Peru and six months later we are announcing the team’s first sponsor”he pointed.

“I am convinced that through sport we can make big changes. As an institution we promote inclusion, social responsibility and commitment to a more equitable country”he added.

In the same way, Eileen Olaechea, president and CEO of Colectivo USA, who was also present at the conference, expressed her joy at supporting the Down shaft. “We are happy to contribute to the development of these young people, who show love and commitment to the institution”he mentioned.

“El Colectivo is the first NGO historically formed in the USA by fans, so we are fully identified with the colors of the club. Thanks to the institution for allowing us to forge values ​​in sport and giving us the opportunity to be the first official sponsor of the Down futsal team”he added.

On the other hand, the cream team reported that the 16 members of the Down futsal team received the shirt they will wear in their next matches. “They will wear the new skin in a friendly match to be held at the Ollantaytambo Sports Complex, in Ate, this Saturday,” reads the statement published to ‘U’ on its website.
