Mediapart’s revelation comes a day after several media outlets revealed that the striker wants to leave the club, unhappy with the management, which did not keep the promises it made to convince him last May to renew his contract.

The investigation, which is very reminiscent of a similar one that affected Barcelona, ​​also indicates that the false accounts were used to discredit a fan who had a scuffle with Neymar, a follower who was treated as a criminal while his private life was brought to light.

“PSG firmly deny Mediapart’s accusations. PSG is an international brand that works with social media agencies everywhere to promote and celebrate the successes of the club, its employees and its partners, like any company,” the entity said in a statement. He added that “an agency has never been contacted to harm anyone.”
