Jean Deza shares an unpublished photo with Marco Verratti: “Memories, chocolate and football”

The appearance of Jean Deza in Peruvian soccer generated great expectation, since he showed a lot of talent and emigrated to Europe very early. One of the clubs that welcomed the Peruvian attacker was Montpellier from France and precisely, during his stay in the old continent, he had a meeting with Marco Verratti, the star of PSG.

And a few hours ago, the 29-year-old athlete shared, through a story on Instagram, an unpublished photograph with the Italian midfielder. In the postcard, the protagonists appear in a tailor shop and look very smiling in front of the camera.

“Regards”, was the description that Deza used in the image, adding the emoji of a soccer ball and a chocolate, the term that refers to the style of play of Peru. The post quickly went viral on social media.

It is worth mentioning that Jean played three campaigns with Montpellier: he added 12 games in 2013-14; two more games in 2014-15 and seven more in 2015-16. However, the Peruvian player never met Marco Verratti, who had signed for PSG in July 2012.

At the end of 2021, Jean Deza surprisingly announced that he was retiring from football, after playing the second division with Carlos Stein. However, the striker changed his decision and signed for ADT for this 2022, gaining regularity in League 1. This season, the attacker has registered five goals in 20 games and has expressed his desire to maintain the level to think about the national team Peruvian.
