Caminos del Inca: The Palomino brothers and the great challenge of winning the rally again

They are the main protagonists of Inca roads. Year after year, the Palomino Brothers prepare for the great rally race and their presence in this edition will point to a new title.

Richard Palomino already tasted victory in the 2013 and 2018 editions, and this year he is looking for a new crown with a Toyota Yaris N5. The pilot is one of the most loved in the interior of the country and he knows that he is ‘local’ in much of the route.

“After winning Caminos in 2013 and 2018, I think it is important to continue competing, to continue dreaming and that is why it is a great responsibility for us as Team Wari to participate in this 50th edition where we trust that the support of all the public will be felt. he loves this sport as much as we do,” says Richard.

Precisely, Team Wari was one of the first to pass technical reviews for this edition of Caminos del Inca. Since Monday the different competitors are in the Costa Verde of Magdalena passing all the due inspections.

Meanwhile, Ronmel Palomino seeks to get rid of the thorn to finally celebrate a victory. “We are very happy with the return of Caminos del Inca after the pandemic. Our objective is very clear to win this 50th edition and for this we are working very hard, we have a great mechanical team and we will compete aboard a Toyota Yaris N5; We know that it is not easy, but we will put all our perseverance to meet the objective”, declares Ronmel.

Caminos del Inca starts this Friday with the symbolic departure on the Costa Verde de Magdalena. Saturday is the Super Primer in La Chutana and on Sunday they leave for Huancayo in the first stage of the competition.
