A match with twists and turns, but with more attack from the red and black team. At 26 minutes, Alejandro Duarte had a great save in favor of Sporting Cristal vs. Melgar for the first leg semifinal of League 1 that is played at the UNSA in Arequipa.

Sporting Cristal’s defense was not fine in several moments of the game and, on one of those occasions, the people of Arequipa were able to score the first goal, however, Duarte denied them the opportunity.

A counterattack by Melgar led by Bordahacar who fired a filtered pass to Paolo Reyna, who ran at speed and hit the ball with his left foot that was saved by the sky-blue goalkeeper at the Monumental stadium.

It is important to mention that the return match will be played this Sunday, November 6 at the National Stadium starting at 3 pm (Peruvian time). The winner of the key will clash against Alianza Lima in the final of League 1 2022.
