The story of Pep Guardiola and Manchester City will last forever. The Nationals manager, 51, has indeed extended his contract with the English champions by two years, until 2025, the club announced on Wednesday.
“Journey continues,” you can read on City’s Twitter account. “ I am so happy that I will continue with City for the next two seasons. I could not even thank the club for the trust placed in me. I feel good here. I have everything I need to do my best work. I know the next head of the club will be extraordinary for the next decade,” the Catalan technician said in a press release.

The former manager of Barcelona (2008-2012) and Bayern Munich (2013-2016) has notably won four English league titles since joining the north west in 2016. Manchester City, the only finalist in 2021 (beat Chelsea Thomas Tuchel 1-0).
