Universitario de Deportes is structuring its squad for the 2023 season and this Thursday confirmed the arrival of its long-awaited goalscorer: Emanuel Herrera will move to Ate. The striker, who already demonstrated his qualities when he was at Sporting Cristal and Melgar, will have a new stage in Peruvian soccer.

It is worth mentioning that Emanuel had his best offensive record in League 1 with Sporting Cristal, in 2018, with the historic figure of 40 celebrations in 42 matches; while in his last year with the ‘Celestes’ (2020), he contributed 20 scores in 32 games, being key to reaching the national title on both occasions.
