Zidane already knows what must happen to become France coach

The next step in Zinedine Zidane’s career is to become coach of the France national team. What’s more, in recent months, the former Real Madrid rejected proposals to direct again, including an important one from PSG. However, for ‘ZZ’ to fulfill his objective, there must be a result in the match against England in Qatar 2022.

If ‘Les Bleus’ lose on Saturday against the ‘Three Lions’ in the World Cup quarterfinals from the Al Bayt stadium, ‘Zizou’ will have an open door to take charge of the national team. Meanwhile, the French victory over the English will leave Didier Deschamps, the current coach, in a good position, as he will have what to do in his hands.

Noel Le Graet, president of the French Football Federation, already commented on the eve of the World Cup. “We both agree that we will see each other right after the World Cup. If we make it to the semifinals, it’s your choice. If he feels motivated to continue, there won’t even be a discussion about it because he will have earned it.”he pointed.

Along the same lines, the manager commented on the Deschamps case and his continuity as coach of France: “If we are not among the last four, we will have to discuss it… In that case, I have the upper hand”. In that scenario, Didier could be dismissed and Zidane would have a great opportunity.

At the moment, the champion trainer in Russia 2018 has not renewed his contract with the FFF. He has not given any light on what he wants after the World Cup either. For now, Deschamps prefers to focus on everything related to Qatar 2022 and prepare the commitment against England, in one of the most anticipated keys.

On his side, Zidane told RMC Sport that “it lacked very little” to return to action from the technical direction. Of course, the national team is the main motivation of the 50-year-old professional. In this context, Zinedine is looking forward to the outcome of the commitment to take place over the weekend in Qatar.
