The Argentina team still dreams of winning the World Cup title in Qatar 2022, but first they will have to overcome Croatia, in the semifinals, a more than complicated rival. Before the game, FIFA shared an interview with Lionel Scaloni, coach of the ‘Albiceleste’, who dedicated a few lines to the fans.
“This team plays for themselves, for the people, for the family, they play for honor, not for money”were the first words of the coach, who was excited about the successful stage he is passing in command of the Argentine team.
Immediately, Scaloni addressed all the fans who came to Qatar to encourage the squad led by Lionel Messi: “We know the effort that all of them make. Seeing the images of the fans leaving all things aside to come, be it at work, impressive”.
“Hopefully we can give them joy. We know that it depends a lot on some circumstances, on some moments, but we are going to give everything”concluded the DT of the Argentine team, who quickly withdrew, trying to hold back his tears.
Let’s remember that, under the command of the strategist, the ‘Albiceleste’ won the 2021 Copa América and, a few months ago, won the Finalissima, after beating Italy, Eurocup champion. Now, the maximum objective is the World Cup trophy, which was achieved by the national representative in the 1978 and 1986 editions.
“Sorry, you can’t do it with me” ❤????????
