France team: five missed training this Friday

This Friday at the end of the day in Doha, the temperature is perfect. Not a drop of wind disturbs the players on the impeccably clean lawn of the training stadium. But all this does not prevent the French team from piercing a slight shiver.

Since Sunday, the virus has indeed caused suffering to 24 international players. After Upamecano and Rabiot, who left the starting XI on Wednesday against Morocco (2-0) but have now recovered, after Coman on Thursday still slightly behind, the two new players are subject to precautionary measures. Defenders Ibrahim Konate and Rafael Varane survived and did not participate in Didier Deschamps’ penultimate training session ahead of the World Cup final against Argentina.

Added to this are two other absences, quickly noticed by the influx of big days from the media. Aurélien Chouameni and Theo Hernandez also did not participate in this light workout focused on ball tennis. The first was hit in the thigh, the second in the knee. According to our information, they should resume training on Saturday.

Even if the general situation does not bother the headquarters of the Blues yet, it is challenging two days before the strike against Argentina. When asked about the spread of the virus at a press conference, Randal Colo Muani delivered an optimistic speech: “There is a small flu spreading, but there is nothing wrong with that. I think they will recover very, very quickly to be on their feet on Sunday, ”said the striker from Frankfurt.
