PSG: Goals by Garbi and Husni, Titis show themselves… what to remember from the victory over Kevilly

The last test before the return of serious things for Paris-Saint-Germain. Led by young Ismael Garbi and Illes Husny, the Parisians quietly won a 3-1 friendly against Quevilly Rouen Metropole before returning to Ligue 1 and Strasbourg on 28 December at the Parc des Princes. While Vitinha and Danilo Pereira were training on the adjacent pitch, PSG faced their second Ligue 2 rivals after beating Paris 2-1 a week earlier at the Camp de Loge.

The game

Beautiful people and a few young people, Christophe Galtier drew eleven entries. Donnarumma in the cage, Ramos and Muchiele to the right of the defense, and midfielder Ruiz-Sánchez-Verratti set up young shooters Husni, Gharbi and El Chadail Bitxiaba, the only three players to play the entire game.

Not surprisingly, at first the Parisians opposed the grouped bloc. They played a lot of balls thanks to the effective loss in pressing. The illustration is signed by Ismael Gharbi: the 18-year-old striker intercepted a back pass from Normandy and then knocked out the opposing goalkeeper to open the scoring (14th).

PSG then lowered the intensity slider and Gianluigi Donnarumma had the opportunity to shine. Back in the Paris cages, the Italian managed to stop Bangra from equalizing the 5.50 meters in Paris. While his defense was worried several times behind his back, the goalkeeper was inspired.

Midfielders took advantage of the presence of an attacking trio. Hugo Ekitike and Garbi dropped a lot, leaving the depth of Husni, the author of the double (30th, 51st) to cover the Ile de France club. Galtier waited until the 70th minute to start spinning. The coach gave minutes to Ethan Mbappe and the other youngsters, and Zaire-Emery touched a lot of balls once he was in 58th place.

Faced with less difficulty, the Normans took advantage of the confusion in the center of the experienced defense and scored from a corner through Diedya.

Player: Ismael Gharbi

In the four-game group of Ligue 1 this season, Ismael Gharbi appeared during this friendly window. The young Spaniard (18 years old), who had already scored a goal against the PFC, did it again against the Normans. First of all, he showed his technique with excellent ball grips and interesting moves created for his teammates.

In the role of a false nine, he did not hide, always asking to advance his team to the opponent’s goal. With his performances in the Youth League (6 goals) and his confidence, Garbi has the arguments to claim playing time with the pros.

Iles Husni offered himself a double to open an account in the professional group. These achievements will not be reflected in his official statistics at the end of his career, but the 17-year-old striker thus offers himself a good cup of confidence. Author of 8 goals in the youth league this season, the French-Moroccan stands out with the PSG U19s. Against Cevilli, he first cut a perfect cross from Muchiele (30 minutes) and then scored from an acute angle (51 minutes).

PSG squad: Donnarumma (Rico, 71st) – Mukiele (Fernandez-Veliz, 71st), Bitsiabu, Ramos (Muntu Wa Mungu, 71st), Bernat (El Hannah, 71st) – Sanchez (Zaire-Emery, 58th), Verratti (cap. Kari, 71st), Ruiz (Etonde, 71st) – Garbi, Husni, Ekitike (E. Mbappe, 71st)
