The World Cup stage closed, the leagues from all over the world are getting ready to return to the ring. The premier leagueone of the most media and important tournaments, will resume nothing less than with the already traditional Boxing Day 2022.
As is typical, Boxing Day will be held within a period of three days: from December 26 to 28. So there will be a tight schedule in the dispute for the sixteenth date of the English tournament.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal (1st with 37 points) will try to retain the top spot in the Premier League. Stalking him, in the second box, Manchester City (2nd with 32 points) has just eliminated Liverpool for the Carabao Cup and, led by Haaland, they hope to come back during the second half of the 2022-23 season.
On the other hand, the clubs that are currently in the relegation zone are Nottingham Forest (18th with 13 points), Southampton (19th with 12 points) and Wolverhampton (20th with 10 pts.).
