Will it compete with Cueva? Andrés Andrade, how he plays and what the Colombian can bring to Alianza

Andrés Andrade is a midfielder with a lot of goals, so Alianza Lima will have a whole arsenal for their attack this season. And Christian Cueva is still a possibility within the club, especially now that he has been released from Al Fateh due to debts.

Andrade parted ways with Nacional last November after spending three years with the purslane. The advanced midfielder who was even called up for the Qualifiers and played against Bolivia in September 2021.

But Alexis finds a problem in Andrés. “His head sometimes fails him. After an injury in 2021 he was injured and after that he did not come back the same. He is virtuous, but his mental level is lacking”, he tells us.

In the next hours or days his incorporation into Alianza Lima must be defined, with which the intimate squad would have a host of players for the attack.

Guaranteed goals?

The capacity of Hernán Barcos is already known, although at 38 years old he will surely not have the same continuity as before. The outstanding debt lies with Aldair Rodríguez, a player who does everything tactically but has not found the finesse to define in front of the goal, while the young Óscar Pinto is expected to open the goal, who has shown a lot of quality and has generated penalties, but still hasn’t celebrated with the blue and white.

“Variants are needed due to injuries, match situations, they require having several level alternatives, not only to complete the list. Alianza has maintained the base of the team that won the two-time championship, with Concha, Lavandeira and Barcos as the axis of their attack. They have incorporated good names to fight, especially to improve their image in the Copa Libertadores where they have gone 29 games without winning.
