League 1: Could the Alianza vs. Vallejo for the TV broadcast rights?

As is known, Binacional is in the group of clubs with ties to the consortium, that is, they do not agree that their matches will be played by Liga 1 Max (Alianza, Melgar, Cienciano and Cusco), and yesterday they sent letters to the FPF to prevent the latter from happening.

According to the FPF, the Juliaca team, which plays at home in Arequipa due to the social situation in their city, expressed that it will not allow the transmission via Liga 1 Max. For this reason, the FPF decided to postpone said match to avoid situations on the field as was experienced last weekend in the Imperial City, when they forced Cusco FC to broadcast their match, conditioning the presence of the referees for it.

Binacional would have expressed its position of not letting the TV cameras pass for the meeting that was scheduled for this afternoon, since according to the club’s arguments, it has no link with 1190 Sports.

“Who benefits from the game being postponed?” Ask those close to the clubs in reference to the fact that Sporting Cristal has to play the rematch of the Copa Libertadores against Nacional in Lima on Tuesday. Without the trip to Arequipa, he will have a few more days of preparation and less wear and tear for the cup duel.

—Alliance Case—

“The FPF will not recognize the agreements or negotiations that have been carried out after the change of statutes, in October 2019, and that do not have the prior authorization of the federation,” read the statement issued yesterday. Therefore, there is no floor for any negotiation that can take place with the clubs

Deporte Total was able to learn that Alianza Lima maintains its position of not allowing its matches to be broadcast by 1190 Sports. From an intimate store they informed us that between yesterday night and this morning they would make a decision on the matter in the board of directors. If the continuation of this position is approved, they could follow the same path as Binacional.

In other words, during the day or tomorrow it could be the case that Alianza also expresses to the FPF its intention not to allow its match to be broadcast and the federation could act in the same way. Meanwhile, the first intimate team trained last night to adapt to the new lighting in Matute.

Melgar would be in the same situation on Sunday, when he has to face Boys in Arequipa. Cienciano, the other team involved, does not play on this day.

This is how League 1 is at the moment. With two dates that have not been played, 1 and 2, with 6 ‘walk overs’ on matchday three and matches broadcast on You Tube and a duel in which the referees did not appear until the TV cameras were accepted. Nothing improves in Peruvian soccer.
