The coach born in Krumbach, in the southwest of Germany, about 100 km from Munich, was fired at Chelsea in September 2022 from his managerial position and has been free since then.

Smiling, Tuchel specified that he thought he would continue his career abroad, with interest, according to the press, from Real Madrid and Tottenham, when the call from Bayern came.
