World champion with Argentina is denounced for sexual abuse

A scandal runs through the environment of Gonzalo Montiel. In the last hours, a complaint for alleged aggravated sexual abuse was filed before the Argentine court against the Sevilla player and one of the architects for the ‘Scaloneta’ to be consecrated with the 2022 World Cup.

In conversations with ‘Radio 10’, Raquel Hermida, the victim’s lawyer, pointed out that the events occurred on January 1, 2019, during Montiel’s birthday celebrations. Likewise, she assured that a “sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by a group of people” was carried out in the footballer’s home.

The complaint was filed with the Justice of the municipality of La Matanza, the jurisdiction where the abuse occurred, in addition, the investigation is being expanded, due to the threats that the victim would be receiving from Gonzalo Montiel’s entourage.

The lawyer affirms that the young woman and the player would have maintained “a small, short relationship.” In addition, the victim, who is dedicated to modeling and did not drink alcohol “was completely unconscious” after trying two drinks.

The young woman does not remember how she got home and “does not know how many people were involved in the abuse,” Hermida said.
