While Paris has qualified to host the 2024 Olympics, we invite you to discover the venues where the events will take place.
- Location: Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars.
The setting will be exceptional. The Eiffel Tower will be one of the centerpieces of the 2024 Games, in particular with the construction of an arena in the center of Champ de Mars. The installation, created specifically for the 2024 Olympic Games, will be dismantled after the Paralympic Games. The complex will be located 15 km from the Olympic Village.
- Sports: swimming, marathon, triathlon and beach volleyball
The banks of the Seine at the foot of the Eiffel Tower will be the scene for whitewater swimming, triathlons and marathons. The Champ de Mars enclosure will host beach volleyball competitions as part of the Olympic Games.
For the Paralympic Games, the sand will be removed to make room for a mini-football field, and cycling and triathlon competitions for the disabled will be held on the banks of the Seine.
- Spectator capacity
The organization provides 3,400 seats, including the Pont d’Iena tribune, and 10,000 standing places. The Champ de Mars arena will have a capacity of 12,860 seats.
- Equipment condition: to be built
The facilities will be installed in the last months before the Games.
