The physical trainer of Universitario de Deportes, Sebastián Avellino, had an unfriendly treatment during his arrest in Sao Paulo after being accused of making racist gestures towards Corinthians fans.
According to images broadcast on social networks, the member of the ‘U’ technical command was abruptly transferred hours before the hearing for the process that was opened after being denounced by a group of fans of the Brazilian team, accused of imitating a monkey heading to the rostrum.
Immediately after the match, the physical trainer was taken to the Itaquera Special Criminal Court (JECRIM), in Sao Paulo, to testify.

They checked the cameras and there is no evidence to incriminate him. The same ones who accuse him attacked him throughout the game, ”he indicated regarding the incident.

Jean Ferrari, administrator of Universitario, raised his voice in protest at the arrest of the Uruguayan professional.
“This is no longer in the entertainment sector, euphoric fans insult us, spit and attack us, the detainee is one of ours, incredible,” the former Merengue player said indignantly.
“Where are the authorities? Where is Conmebol? So it will be difficult for any team to want to play on a visit to Brazil ”, he added via Twitter.
