Bronny, son of LeBron James, suffered cardiac arrest during training

Bronny James, son of LeBron James, is in stable condition and out of the intensive care unit after going into cardiac arrest Monday while training at USC.

“Medical staff were able to treat Bronny and get him to the hospital. He is stable and out of ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will give more updates to the media when there is more information,” a family spokesman said Tuesday in a statement collected by the celebrity news outlet TMZ and The Athletic portal.

LeBron and Savannah James, Bronny’s parents, also thanked the USC medical team.

Bronny announced in May that he will play in the NCAA with the USC Trojans this season. Both at a sports and academic level, USC is one of the most prestigious universities in the US and its great rival in Los Angeles is UCLA.

At 18 years old and 6’1″, Bronny has turned heads as a point guard for the Sierra Canyon High School Trailblazers.

In addition to being considered one of the most outstanding players of his promotion, there is a lot of expectation around Bronny’s hypothetical NBA future since LeBron has said on several occasions that he would love to team up with his son in the best basketball league in the world.

LeBron, the top scorer in NBA history, continues to compete at a very high level at 38 years of age after two decades in the elite, while his son Bronny will be eligible for the draft in 2024.
