Manchester City’s affectionate greeting to Peru for National Holidays

An affectionate hug between Claudio pizarro and Pep Guardiola served as the background for the greeting he made Manchester City to the Peru this Friday, July 28, the date on which another year of Independence Day is celebrated.

“Happy National Holidays, Peru!”, highlighted the ‘citizens’ through their official accounts in Spanish. “What better way to celebrate than with this photo of Pep and El Bombardero de los Andes”, added the English club, taking advantage of the last meeting between the two world football figures.

Pizarro coincided with the popular technical director last Wednesday in a friendly between Manchester City and Bayern Munich, a team where he left his mark and is currently serving as ambassador.

The Peruvian striker was led by Pep Guardiola during his last spell as a player for the German team. From that experience, they maintain a good relationship.
