Peru vs Brazil: they prohibit the entry of instruments and banners into the National Stadium

Instruments and banners with encouraging phrases were prohibited in the National Stadium for the Peru vs Brazil match for the second date of the Qualifiers 2026. According to reports, the competent authorities decided to reduce the use of said tools.

Through a statement, the organized bars “Sentimiento Blanquirrojo” and “La Blanquirroja” reported that on August 21 they requested the General Directorate of Interior Government (DGIN) the entry of flags, banners and instruments for comparison.

“It is more difficult to organize the party in our house than abroad: in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, all the instruments and flags were brought in. “Despite having visible messages against violence and not having a negative record, they once again make it difficult for us to organize encouragement for our National Team.”says the document.

However, they requested Ministry of the Interior (Mininter) reassess the order.

“We must promote and help make football a peaceful celebration: restricting good actions does not help this”ends the statement.
