Own goal! Marcos López’s own goal gives Chile a 2-0 win over Peru in the Qualifiers | VIDEO

In the minutes of stoppage time, Marcos López, in his attempt to clear the ball, put it into his own goal. It was the second and final Chilean goal against Peru, for the fourth round of the Qualifiers.

A long ball on the right wing, with Peru focused on attack, left Anderson Santamaría in a bad position and could not contain the Chilean attacker.

Juan Reynoso’s team has added just 1 point from the first three presentations and Argentina is the next rival.

In the debut, a draw was rescued in Ciudad del Este against Paraguay, and in Lima the red and white team fell 1-0 against Brazil on the hour mark.
