Jadon Sancho is missing from Manchester United’s official squad photo, suggesting his future at the club is over.

United are determined to sack Sancho, with United coach Erik ten Hag seeing the winger as a disruptive influence on the rest of his squad.

Sancho has been involved in an unpleasant feud with Ten Hag this season, as the Dutchman publicly criticized his player in the media for his poor training performance.

Sancho responded by claiming he had been made a “scapegoat” by Ten Hag before being banned from all United first-team facilities as punishment.

It was thought that Sancho could come in from the cold if he apologized to his boss, but there is now a growing feeling that Ten Hag would see any possible apology as an “empty gesture” and that it would not give him satisfaction.

That means Sancho is likely to leave in the January transfer window and the Englishman was even absent from United’s official squad photo on Thursday.

United took a personal squad photo at their training ground in Carrington this week for the first time since the 2014/2015 season.

The Red Devils posted a video on TikTok in which all the players gathered for the photo – but there was no sign of Sancho.

United are prepared to take a “significant loss” on the 23-year-old in January after spending £73million on him in 2021.

Barcelona, Juventus and Sancho’s former club Borussia Dortmund have all expressed interest in signing the winger.
