Alfredo Ramúa condemns threats against Carlos Beltrán: “No one would like to receive them”

League 1 Betsson | Cienciano midfielder Alfredo Ramúa expressed his solidarity with his teammate Carlos Beltrán, who reported, last Thursday, having received threats a few days before the match against Sport Boys in Callao, for the 19th (last) date of the Clausura Tournament of the League 1 Betsson.

“No one would like to receive threats, this is football, obviously you have the support of the group, it is a difficult situation for your teammate and it will be a difficult game for us going to Callao. We know all the things that are at stake and we have to be prepared for everything,” said Ramúa in conversation with radio Ovación.

Regarding the match against the pink club, which during the week suffered a loss of 4 points in the accumulated table and is now committed to relegation, he said he hopes that Cienciano will be able to play a good game to get the three points.

“As footballers we want to play and make it the best at any time. There are many games, many things are defined and we hope that we can have a good match against Boys who has important things at stake,” he added.

The match between Sport Boys and Cienciano will be played on Saturday, October 28, at 3:15 pm, at the Miguel Grau stadium in Callao.
