Qualifiers: Bolivia presented Brazilian Antonio Carlos Zago as its new coach

Brazilian Antonio Carlos Zago is the new coach of the national team Boliviawho disputes the Qualifiers South Americans 2026.

This was confirmed by the president of the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF), Fernando Costa, during a press conference on the morning of this Tuesday, October 31. In addition, Julio César Baldivieso was announced as manager of national teams.

“Nothing is lost, we must persist. Surely with the effort and union of all Bolivians, all football actors, we will achieve our objectives,” he said during his presentation.

Zago arrives to replace the Argentine Gustavo Costas who lost in the four matches he played in the aforementioned competition.

Bolivia will host Peru in La Paz on November 16, for the fifth day of the 2026 South American Qualifiers.

Both teams need to add points in the next round, since the highlands have zero units and the white and red team have just 1 point.
