Universitario fans break into Videna in a sign of rejection of the appointment of Edwin Ordóñez in the League 1 Betsson final

This Monday, November 6, two days before the expected final of the Betsson League 1 between Alianza Lima and Universitario de Deportes, CONAR announced who will be the referee of such an important definition. The chosen one was Edwin Ordóñez, a designation that caused a stir in the ‘cream’ store, who allege that the referee is a fan of ‘intimates’.

The reactions did not take long to arrive and this same afternoon, according to Movistar Deportes, Universitario baristas broke into the Videna facilities and painted protests against Ordóñez’s election.

For his part, Manuel Barreto, sports director of the merengue club, had also spoken minutes before about the news.

“Beyond the fandom of Mr. (Edwin) Ordóñez, we trust in his honesty and in the great opportunity he has in his career to play a great game,” he indicated.
