Nissan Hyper Force: unlocked level of electromobility

Nissan raised its commitment to electric vehicles to maximum power at the Japan Mobility Show, where it presented its vision of the future on a “Hyper” scale with five concept cars. The Japanese firm unveiled another level of electromobility and stole the show with a special prototype: the Nissan Hyper Force.

The brand plays with details that make many think that it hides the next generation GT-R, with marked traces of previous versions of the house’s iconic model, but it is still too soon to talk about the expected R36, or even a preview of its most recent version. ambitious

The concrete thing is electrifying: it is a concept car powered by a completely electric system powered by a solid-state battery, faster charging, with greater storage capacity and longer life time. It is capable of offering the driver one megawatt of power (1000 kW), more than 1300 horsepower, double that of the 2024 version of the GT-R (565 hp); figures that would place this vehicle among the fastest cars on the planet if it reached production. A beast to overcome the 400 km/h barrier with peace of mind.

The goal according to Nissan is that this prototype can provide maximum driving satisfaction for adrenaline lovers, without neglecting environmental performance and comfort for everyday use. The brand promises better cornering and handling on winding roads thanks to a correct dose of downforce, four-wheel drive and a lightweight, high-strength carbon body.

The passage of wind has been a special concern. The exterior structure, developed in collaboration with NISMO, includes elements to dominate this monster with ‘Godzilla’ DNA. A two-level armor under the hood promotes downforce and promises high cooling performance. Airflow control falls to a dual-level rear diffuser. Also thanks to some lateral ‘gills’ and the ends of the rear spoiler. And the combo also includes lightweight forged carbon wheels and a plasma application for greater grip.

Other novelties of the Nissan Hyper Force are its driving modes, differentiated at a level never seen before, with interfaces that change color and different display forms, according to the conditions. Graphic details that are the result of a collaboration with Polyphony Digital Inc., a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

In “R” mode, designed for racing, the interior environment turns red and the driver’s concentration is prioritized. The dashboard panels fold out towards the seats and four screens near the helm show tire grip and temperature, air pressure, power distribution, among other values.

While in “GT” (Gran Turismo) mode the experience is different. The interior is dyed blue and the screens move away to combine. Thus, the user enters a simpler interface, designed for the most comfortable daily use, where there are climate control, audio, suspension and stabilizer settings. What stands out here is the possibility of managing mechanical details from a screen while driving.

No minor details in safety and technology: autonomous driving with hyper LIDAR, a set of sensors for driving at extreme speeds, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).
