Ángelo Campos ignited a controversy after going out to warm up at the Monumental with an Alianza Lima flag, an action for which Universitario de Deportes requested a sanction, however, he ended up making a good gesture after the final of the Betsson League 1, despite of the fall of the Victorians.

Universitario won 2-0 against the ‘intimates’ in Matute, added its long-awaited 27th star and was unable to celebrate with the trophy on the field due to a blackout, but that did not prevent the blue and white goalkeeper from being seen approaching to congratulate his rivals and to the coach of the creams, Jorge Fossati.

The goalkeeper pointed this out in dialogue with Liga 1 MAX: “There may be thousands of excuses, but the opponent must recognize that the opponent was better.
