“The PFP requests the authorities who attended last night’s event, including the Public Ministry, DISEDE and the National Police, to send the minutes and reports on the events to quickly determine responsibilities,” it reads.
“The FPF reserves the right to impose sanctions in the sporting framework in accordance with the powers of its competent bodies, which act autonomously and independently,” they add.

For its part, Alianza Lima released a statement confirming that the lights of the Alejandro Villanueva stadium were turned off in order to preserve the safety of the fans at the conclusion of the tournament final match.
“The decision to turn off the lights on the playing field of the Alejandro Villanueva stadium, once the League 1 final had concluded, was made with the sole purpose of encouraging the rapid evacuation of the stands and thus preserving the integrity and safety of the public and of the sports delegations”it reads.
