Joel Raffo rules out Yotún’s departure from Sporting Cristal: “No matter what they put in” | League 1 Betsson

In the last hours, the interest of Universitario de Deportes to have Yoshimar Yotún for the 2024 season of League 1 Betsson, in the cream centenary, and the president of Sporting Cristal, Joel Raffospoke about it.

The celestial manager ruled out the captain of the Bajopontino club leaving the institution and stressed that he has a current contract.

“Yoshi, because of what he represents, both on and off the field, will generate interest not only in national clubs but also in international ones, it is natural,” he said in an interview with ESPN.

“However, we do not have the slightest intention that he can be transferred, it is not an economic issue, no matter what they say. He is under contract with us, the commitment is full, the trust is full,” he added.

Along those lines, Raffo said that Yotún expressed his desire to continue. “It is a situation that we have lived with these two years and we continue to provide the entire platform for that growth and that leadership,” he concluded.

In an exclusive interview for El Comercio, Jean Ferrari confirmed that the cream institution is looking for the signing of Yoshimar Yotún.
