Pablo Míguez after losing the final with Alianza Lima: “We were not up to par with our club”

Alianza Lima lost the national final of the League 1 Betsson against Universitario and, after several days of the bitter defeat, the Argentine defender Pablo Miguez he gave his opinion on the matter.

“It is difficult to describe what you feel when you lose a final, I couldn’t do it before, the anguish is great, I feel helplessness and shame. “I accept the defeat, we were not up to par with our club,” he said through his Instagram account.

“The love I have for this shirt is great and that made me never give up all year, I wanted and wanted, I played with my heart in all the games, I prepared and worked with humility, but unfortunately we couldn’t win the final ”he added.

Finally, he had words of gratitude to the blue and white fans for the support they gave the team during the season.

“I sincerely thank and value all the fans who with great effort supported us all year and my family, who is everything in my life,” he concluded.

With an overall score against 3-1, Alianza missed the historic possibility of winning a three-time national championship.
