Daniela Campos beat the Colombian Mónica Daza 6-0 in the final. This medal represents the first gold for Peru in the sporting event.
The athlete obtained the victory after winning the three rounds in a row against her rival. Each round awards 2 points.
Campos, member of the Athlete Support Program (PAD) of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD), qualified for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games in paraarchery.
