Rodrigo Santillán achieves his third bronze medal at the Parapan American Games Santiago 2023

The Peruvian paraswimmer Rodrigo Santillan continues to achieve success in the current edition of the Parapan American Games Santiago 2023. This Friday, November 24, the national para-athlete achieved his third bronze medal in the competition in the men’s 100 meter freestyle S2 event.

According to the tournament organization, Santillán achieved a time of 2:18:92, but was surpassed by the Brazilian Gabriel Dos Santos (1:56.61) and the Chilean Alberto Abarza Diaz (2:04.54), who they won gold and silver, respectively.

However, they surpassed the Mexicans with category Christopher Trunk and Jesus Lopezwho came in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Some days ago, Rodrigo Santillan He also won bronze in the events 100 meters backstroke S2 and in the 200 meter freestyle S2.

The Peruvian Parapan American team has a total of 16 medals in the general medal table: two are gold, four are silver and 10 are bronze.

Thus, the Peru team occupies eleventh position in the general classification of the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games.
