Peruvian wrestling team achieved 14 medals in Pan American U15

He Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) announced that the Peruvian Olympic wrestling team obtained 14 medals in the Pan American U15 Championship. This sporting event took place between November 24 and 26 in Panama.

“With the participation of André Huarcaya, Percyvall Jibaja and Joao Montesinos, members of the IPD Athlete Support Program (PAD), the Peruvian Olympic wrestling team won 14 medals in the U15 Pan American Wrestling Championship,” the publication reads. shared on social networks.

The one who won the gold medal was Joao Montesinos in beach wrestling style (-75 kg). In addition, he won the silver in Greco-Roman style (-62 kg).

On the other hand, André Huarcaya won three medals: one silver (beach wrestling) and two bronze (freestyle and Greco-Roman style). While Percyvall Jibaja was left with two bronze medals: one in freestyle and another in Greco-Roman style.

The Peruvians who also stood on the podium were Camila Pachas (silver in freestyle and beach wrestling), Anthony Molina (bronze in freestyle and beach wrestling), Clara Ramírez (bronze in freestyle and beach wrestling) and Adriano Carbajal (bronze in beach wrestling).
