Restrepo wants Barcos to continue in Alianza: “He has a goal and is a well-loved person”

After confirming the departure of important footballers such as Pablo Míguez, Gino Peruzzi, Aldair Rodríguez and Cristian Benavente, among others, Victorian fans are somewhat worried because there is still no news about the renewal of one of the emblematic players of the blue and white team: Hernan Barcos.

Although the ‘Pirate’ has repeatedly stated that he wishes to continue at the La Victoria club, current national runner-up, the club has not yet given news about the extension of the Argentine-born attacker’s contract.

It should be noted that Barcos began the process a few months ago to become a Peruvian national and thus be able to free up a foreign quota in the intimate group.

In this regard, the new coach of Lima Alliance, the Colombian Alejandro Restrepoindicated in a recent interview that the Victorian leadership is already working on the renovation of Barcos.

“Hernán, we all know what it is like for Peruvian football. I think it is also one of the conversations that has already been going on since before our arrival. We know what a professional he is, what he means to the fans, and in that direction, I understand, the conversations with the leadership are going.”, Restrepo said in dialogue with RPP Noticias.
