Although he had a valid contract until 2024, there was a lot of speculation about Yoshimar Yotún’s permanence at Sporting Cristal, and this Monday afternoon Joel Raffo, president of the light blue club, put an end to the issue by confirming a contract extension with the national midfielder.
“The agreement and the link with Yoshimar Yotún have been ratified, which has led to a longer term and a greater horizon. Initially, we had a project with Yoshimar Yotún until 2024, and we have extended the contract term until the end of 2026″, he said in statements to RPP.
As recalled, Jean Ferrari, administrator of Universitario de Deportes openly said that Yotún was of interest to form a great team for the cream centenary.
