Alianza Lima: Colombian striker Pablo Sabbag announces that he will play for the Syrian national team

“I am very happy because Syria is the country of my ancestors and I feel very honored to represent Syria. I want to thank the Syrian Football Association, especially Mr Abdul Rahman Al-Khatib and Mr Firas Mualla for all the effort in recent days to make this possible”he added.

Sabbag had a good performance with Alianza Lima in the Apertura tournament, but then he had an injury that prevented him from being in several games.
