André Carrillo says goodbye to Juan Reynoso: “Grateful to you and your technical command for everything”

The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) made official this week the exit of Juan Reynoso of the position of technical director of the Peruvian soccer team, after the poor results achieved in the first six dates of the Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cupwhere the national team could only get two points out of a possible 18 and that is why it is in last place in the standings.

After a few weeks of back and forth, both parties managed to reach an agreement and Reynoso is no longer the national coach. Now, the FPF is working to finalize the incorporation of the Uruguayan Jorge Fossati, former champion coach with Universitario de Deportes, as the new helmsman of the Bicolor.

Andre Carrillomidfielder for Al-Qadisiyah, from Saudi Arabia, and a regular call-up to the Peruvian team, dedicated a farewell message to Juan Reynoso on his Instagram account.

The former Alianza Lima player published a photo of both of them in a restaurant and wrote the following message:

Grateful to you and your technical command for absolutely everything, I wish you the best in the future. I send a big hug to you and your family, Juan Reynoso.”
