Davis Cup: Chile confirmed location in Ñuñoa to face Peru

After speculation about the venue that will host the duel between Peru and Chile for the Davis cupFinally this was confirmed by the president of the Chilean Tennis Federation, Sergio Elías.

In dialogue with ‘Tenis al Máximo’ he confirmed that the series will be played on Saturday, February 3 and Sunday, February 4, at the Anita Lizana stadium, in the Commune of Ñuñoa in Santiago.

This sports venue was remodeled for the last Pan American Games and will have a capacity of 5,000 attendees.

As you remember, there was information that the locals would choose a hard court, but finally it will be played on a clay surface.

The series would have the confirmed losses of the Chilean tennis players Nicolás Jarry, Cristian Garín, Alejandro Tabilo and Marcelo Tomás Barrios, in addition to the Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas, since during those dates they will play the Australia Open.
