Sergio Peña to Alianza Lima: this is known about the possible return of the midfielder to Peru

After failing to win the three-time championship and losing the national final against its classic rival, Universitario de Deportes, Alianza Lima continues to seek to reinforce itself with a view to the 2024 season, where it will have to play two championships at the same time: the Copa Libertadores and Liga 1 Betsson. The ‘intimates’ have added a couple more reinforcements, however, the squad is not yet complete.

The intimate club has lost several players for next year, the last on the list was Jairo Concha, the Peruvian midfielder did not reach an agreement with the La Victoria team to renew his bond and left a position to reinforce.

After this departure, Alianza Lima plans to reinforce itself with a Peruvian soccer player. The chosen player would be Sergio Peña, the ‘8’ of Malmo in Sweden, he is the main option for the blue and white, however, hiring him will depend a lot on the long-term plan they propose with him at the helm.

Another option handled by the blue and white leadership is that of Cristian Neyra, a 22-year-old Peruvian soccer player from Unión Comercio.
