Independiente will sue Martín Cauteruccio for a million-dollar amount

Martín Cauteruccio, Sporting Cristal’s new forward, declared himself free due to non-payment and decided to move his football to Peru. The debut of the Argentine attacker would take place next week, when the Rimense team appears in the Celeste Afternoon; However, in Independiente de Avellaneda they are not satisfied with his departure and have decided to respond through legal means.

The reinforcement of the Bajopontine team will be demanded by Independiente, since the Argentine team considers that Cauteruccio broke his contract unilaterally, the main Argentine sports press reported this Thursday.

The ‘Red’ demands million-dollar compensation: no less than 5,000,000 dollars, they said.

The gunner had a contract with Independiente de Avellaneda until December 31, 2024, but signed for Sporting Cristal alleging breach of contract and was presented as a reinforcement of the Rime team.

Carlos Tevez, current Red strategist, did not consider the Argentine scorer essential in his plans for the 2024 season.
