Alessandro Burlamaqui joined the Peruvian Under 23 team: “We are very excited” | VIDEO

The Peruvian soccer player Alessandro Burlamaqui joined the work of the Peruvian national team under 23 who will compete in the Venezuela pre-Olympic, in search of one of the places for Paris 2024.

The midfielder, who plays for Intercity of the First Federation of Spain, was very motivated with this new opportunity with the red and white team.

“I see a very united group, with a lot of commitment and eager for the tournament to start. Personally, my goal is to give everything I have to the team, give my best version and sacrifice myself to the maximum, while as a group, to have a good tournament. We are very eager and very excited to leave Peru at the top,” he said in statements to the YouTube channel of the Peruvian Football Federation.

It is worth mentioning that Burlamaqui already defended the bicolor when he participated in the Peruvian under 17 team in the 2019 South American tournament.

The national midfielder was one of the highlights of that national team that was close to reaching the World Cup in Brazil.

Those led by José ‘Chemo’ del Solar will compete in the tournament that will be played from January 20 to February 11 in the cities of Caracas, Valencia and Barquisimeto.
